You take full technical responsibility for design and production of laser diode packages (BTF / TO package – single mode and multi mode) in the role of the product owner within the company.
You define and oversee assembly and calibration procedures for optoelectronic devices in close cooperation with internal and external production sites (e.g. die bonding, welding, soldering, glueing and optical alignment).
You supervise process and product qualification and define quality checkpoints for stable production.
You define new product variants in close collaboration with the sales department.
You will be responsible for the creation and realisation of the product road map.
You have a strong background in either laser technology, microtechnology or in another photonics related field, a PhD is preferred.
You have relevant work experience with microtechnology processes in the semiconductor or laser industry.
You have experience with optoelectronics and diode lasers.
You are willing to take responsibility and are self-motivated.
The quality of the product is important to you and you are a team player.
You are able to transfer customer demands into product and process desing and a are able to drive projects across different departments in the company.
