Workshop on Theoretical and Numerical Tools for Nanophotonics TNTN2020
The TNTN2020 comprises two workshops, the OWTNM 2020 - XXVIII International Workshop on Optical Wave & Waveguide Theory and Numerical Modelling and the 13th Annual Meeting Photonic Devices.
The yearly OWTNM workshop has, since 1992 (OWTNM History), provided a forum for lively debates, intended to bring forward new ideas in the field of theoretical and computational photonics. Basic physics and novel applications, artificially structured materials and new devices, elegant mathematical techniques and efficient numerical methods to tackle the Maxwell equations form the constantly evolving subjects. These are discussed in a traditionally open and relaxed atmosphere.
The topics of the Annual Meeting Photonic Devices are the simulation, physical properties and deeper understanding of novel photonic devices. The audience consists of physicists, mathematicians and electrical engineers. The intent is to have an active exchange of results, ideas and methods between these different scientific fields from fundamental to applied research. This is also seen in the scientific program of the workshops in the past.
