The focus area Education and Training is developed in close cooperation with ProANH e. V.
More than 25 high-tech companies and research institutions from Berlin and Brandenburg are organized within this focus area. Together with ProANH, we connect training companies and support them in their education and training activities. We also inform young people about the wide range of opportunities within the Optics and Photonics Cluster Berlin-Brandenburg, which includes more than 400 companies and institutes.
Electronics Manufacturing Specialist
The “Electronics Manufacturing Specialist” program, which we developed together with you, was temporarily suspended. However, we have received reports of renewed demand from several companies, so we are optimistic that we will be able to start a new training cycle in the first quarter of 2027.
Brief Summary of the Program
- Target Group: Semi-skilled and unskilled workers, as well as career changers
- Duration to date: 5 months (4 months of technical theory, 1 month of on-the-job training), followed by employment at the company (depending on suitability)
- Collaboration between proANH e.V., the Federal Employment Agency, and a certified training provider
- Positive feedback from participants, companies, and other stakeholders; practical recruitment of career changers

Needs Assessment for 2027
We ask that you let us know by September 30 whether and how many internship positions you would like to offer in the next round (starting in Q1 2027). If your plans are not yet finalized, please indicate whether you have a general interest in participating in 2027.
