At the start of the new year, OpTecBB is also launching the new project PHOTONHUB EUROPE, a pan-European Photonics Digital Innovation Hub, which has been granted €19 million in funding under the HORIZON 2020 program. The consortium comprises 53 partners across 17 European countries.

The goal is to leverage photonics innovations and technologies more effectively across other industries. PhotonHub serves as a central contact point, providing SMEs and non-photonics organizations access to the best photonics facilities in Europe.

Our partners in Berlin include Fraunhofer HHI, and in Germany, partners include Optonet in Thuringia, as well as institutions such as KIT, Laserzentrum Hannover, and IPHT Jena.
