The UV and X-ray focus area is dedicated to the development and application of environmentally friendly UV technologies. This focus area brings together partners from industry, research institutions, and universities to promote collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation in UV technologies. UV applications help address global challenges in health, environmental protection, research, and industrial production.

The focus area is developed in close cooperation with Advanced UV for Life e. V..
